The Anthony is a modern southern casual styled restaurant with a variety of different southern inspired dishes with several containing interesting culinary twists. The Anthony was founded by Clint Walker, Matt Bell and Derek Howard in May 2017. All three owners are very proud to bring their signature local concept to Vicksburg.

Clint, Matt, and Derek have all been close friends and restaurant partners for the past several years. Their partnership has spanned across three surrounding states and the group viewed this venture as the perfect opportunity to bring their ideas to the city where they were all raised with the hopes of serving the local community.

The Anthony’s name comes from Derek’s late father Tony who lived in Vicksburg for 25 years and was a previous business partner, friend and mentor to the group. The Anthony’s kitchen is open Monday thru Friday from 11-2 and we also have several individual spaces for hosting parties of all different sizes. We are located at 721 Clay Street in Downtown Vicksburg.

Our private events are organized by our event coordinator, Ellen Amborn. The motto of The Anthony is dine, drink, celebrate which is three of our favorite things to do in this world.

It gives us all much joy to bring our love for the food service industry to the city of Vicksburg which has grown us into what we all have become today.
